The restaurant, owned by the chef, is highly recommended by all in Vis, because of the reputation that it has garnered through years of unbeatable service – serving delicious local food with a combination of the best ingredients possible.

If you want to have a light meal during the day or settle down for some delicious cocktails at night, you need to look no further than the rather funky Fabrika! This cafe in Komiza offers all of the best local street food through an extensive menu.

The interior of the restaurant is a fascinating view – with mismatched chairs and furniture, thrift items, and something fun to see everywhere you look. Fort George

Top Recommended Dishes: Tuna steak, calamari, and drinks.

Fort George is one of the biggest symbolisms of the region’s military history. First created by the British army in 1813, this fort has been a stronghold base for several nations. However, a step into the fort now and you can enjoy a lot more than the historical treasure.

The fort, after extensive remodeling, now hosts a bar, restaurant, and an events menu. This is what makes it a must-visit for anyone in Vis, as it is the perfect spot for all manner of activities.

Come to the Fort to eat some delicious local cuisine and some other seafood favorites. You can also take a step back and relax in the open space with a breathtaking view of the island, with some lovely drinks from the bar.

If you could only visit one place in Croatia it needs to be this one! We stumbled here by accident on our last roadtrip. We thought it is only a Fort you can visit, but no, you can stay here in the evening, drink wine and eat – sitting on a couch filled with huge pillows on the edge of a cliff, seeing the best sunsets you will ever see in Croatia!

On the way to Mala Travna, many boats stop to enjoy the delights of Konoba Senko. The experience is considered a slow-eating one – do not expect to come here with fast-food level service. Instead, you can take out a few hours, go for a swim, and wait for whatever has been caught that day to be prepared and served.
